A useful addition to any busy household, Panasonic's innovative U-Shape steam-circulating iron makes quick work of pressing creases into pant legs, removing wrinkles from work shirts, and creating crisp clean lines--from skirts and dresses to napkins, table cloths, and more. Ironing doesn't have to be a chore when wielding the right kind of iron.
Uniquely Designed Soleplate
Standing apart from the rest, Panasonic's handheld iron features a unique U-shaped design on the end of its soleplate that helps circulate steam under the soleplate for smoother ironing and enhanced steam coverage. The iron's durable titanium soleplate also comes with a nonstick coating to help ensure effortless gliding, while its slightly curved shape puts the pressure at the center of the iron instead of at the tip, which means less tugging, snagging, and minimal wrinkling.

Another thoughtful detail includes the adjustable-steam and spray-mist features. The iron's adjustable-steam function makes it possible to generate the right amount of steam for the job--high steam for heavy fabric like wool, cotton, and linen or low steam for quick touch-ups or lighter fabrics like silk. The spray-mist option delivers an extra burst of moisture with a push of the button--great for removing stubborn wrinkles. Both options are easily accessible on the top of the curved handle.
Adjustable Temperature
With a simple turn of the dial, the iron quickly heats to the temperature desired--and keeps it there. The temperature ranges from 176 to 392 degrees F, but the five, clearly labeled fabric settings on the dial make it easy to choose the amount of heat needed for the job. A handy indicator light will illuminate once the desired temperature has been reached.
Other highlights include a hip-up profile that makes it possible to see more of the item being ironed, a transparent water window for at-a-glance monitoring of the water level, a wide opening for easily filling the iron with water, 1200 watts of power, and the Good Housekeeping seal of approval.
Panasonic offers three U-Shape steam-circulating iron models to choose from--view the chart below to compare.
